The route includes approx. 800 stairs, 380 of which are at the start. Please wear comfortable shoes and clothing according to the conditions on the route. The temperature underground falls within the range of 17–18ºC.
Detailed information about ticket prices and discounts can be found here.

Only a small carry-on luggage (with maximum dimensions of 20x20x35 cm) is allowed during the tour of the Mine. You may leave any larger luggage at our automated luggage lockers; however, please keep in mind that the number of lockers and their size are limited, which means that the availability of a suitable luggage locker cannot be guaranteed. Luggage storage is available free of charge during touring hours. When going for a tour of the mine, try your best to avoid taking large luggage and baby strollers with you, as the mine lacks the appropriate storage facilities to keep them for you.
For detailed information on the operation of the luggage storage, please refer to the Terms and Conditions.
On the Tourist Route, you can relax and dine in designated locations. Karczma Górnicza, located 125 metres underground, serves Polish cuisine as well as hot and cold beverages.

Before starting the tour, you can use the toilets, which are located right next to the Daniłowicz Shaft. Toilets are also available underground in two locations on the tour.
Wieliczka is open to children of all ages. Moreover, children under 4 years of age are entitled to free admission. We have also prepared facilities for families visiting Wieliczka: a changing table and special chairs in Karczma Górnicza. Due to the large number of stairs in the Mine, the use of strollers is not recommended.
Some of the underground workings of the Tourist Route are adapted for people with limited mobility.
